    Hello teacher!

Thanks for the powerpoint and the video. This is really interesting. It's like a review but with images and listening and reading!

There are lots of films I like...but perhaps the best for me is Monty Python's Life of Brian (1979, which was voted the greatest comedy ever.

I also like thrillers- but those I prefer to read...

    cheers!

    Good morning to everybody

In my opinion, this video is fantastic due to the fact that comments are narrated by the director of the film and its performers. In addition, as the director says Shakespeare’s life we hear and read small phrases used in the movie. On the other hand, it can perfectly identify the parties to be taken into account when making a review (introduction, main body and conclusion). Moreover, I remember that the film critics gave it very good film reviews

And finally, these are my films:

Firstly, "The English patient" which won nine Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

Secondly,"Gandhi" which is a 1982 biographical film based on the life of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. The film was also given the Academy Award for Best Picture and won eight Academy Awards.
    Chariots of fire

And "Chariots of Fire". It was nominated for seven Academy Awards and won four, including Best Picture, as well as, it has a great soundtrack composed by Vangelis

    Bye

    Good morning, Dulce:

First, the video is perfect in order to know how we have to do a review and what vocabulary we would have to use. Besides, it's more interesting with images and audio. I liked it so much!

Finally, I like a lot of films but I always remember ``Love actually´´, which is written and directed by Richard Curtis.

    Bye

    1. Donald,
How happy it makes me feel you find the video useful... In fact, everything to a certain extent is there! I mean, all we've studied about films, vocabulary and grammar, and also it is a good way to revise reviews!

    Good morning, Dulce,
I've really enjoyed of this wonderful video. It was very easy for me to understand it and I can distinguish each part of a review on it. Besides, it's very interesting to listen how the actors talk about theirs characters and how the directors describe the plot and all things which happen in the film.

In according to my favourites films, I'm fond of many films but the most film that I really love since I was a child is Titanic. It was set in EE.UU in 1997 and it was directed by James Cameron.
Lots of films have been filmed trying to recreate the tragic moment which happened that night but, from my honest opinion, I'm totally sure that James Cameron's film got it.

    Bye

    Hello everybody!

I have seen this video twice because it´s a touching video where the director and main actors talks about their well done job. This video also convince me to watch this movie that i haven´t seen before.

About my favorite film i have to say that it´s difficult to choose only one but "A beautiful Mind" directed by Ron Howard it´s for me one of the best films ever. The reason why i chose this film is the way that Ruseel Crowe interpret a students of maths with paranoid schizophrenia.

    I strongly recommend this film.

    see you classmates!

    1. Sir,
That is really a great film which I've happened to see at least four times. A good type of film-but what category does it belong to? Do you know? Is it a tragedy? A love story?
Thank you and everyone for visiting

In my opinion, it's a love story. Graham and Ann have a lot problems with their sexyality because they haven't found real love yet. And the scene on the stairs (the final one)is a picture of love.

This film tells the story of love between two people of different social class but most surprises me about this video is when they tell Juliet that her father had promised in marriage to a stranger who wanted his fortune.

On the other hand, a movie I remember is the thriller "The Silence of the Lambs" starring Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins. This film won 5 Oscar in 1991.

    Hello everybody,
I like it, because it is a romantic film which can teach you that when you fell lost suddenly you find the light of your life.
On the other hand, you could improve your writting about film review with it, due to the fact that it coments cast, plot,... and so on, I mean all the main points that we learnt in class.

Finally, my favourite film is "Life is Beautiful". I agree with Forrest Gump, it is a mixture between a romantic comedy film and a drama film. If you watched this film, you would be able to know the hard life from Jewish people during II World War. Moreover, it has been stood out from plenty of people.

    Hi!

I really like this film. It make me feel like If I had lived in that in the time of Shakespeare. I strongly recommend it If you like romantic films.

One of my favourite film is "Sense and Sensibility" filmed in 1995. I really love this film. I think it is because I love era films. In this kind of films the love is reflected or captured by the stars displaying feelings.
This film is a novel written by a british writer Jane Austen published in 1811.
The stars are Emma Thopson, Kate Winslet and Huge Grant. This film won many awards.
Even the novel was adapted for series on TV and then for screen.
If you liked "Shakespeare In Love" you would watch this film.
Even the novel has been adapted for series.
